Deco-style cocktails find home in this Flatiron space, cultivated by partner Julie Reiner and crafted by expert mixologists who approach each drink with a thoughtful and methodical artistry.
An evening at Flatiron Lounge can be characterized by sharply dressed thirty- and forty-somethings crowded around the long, lacquered mahogany bar or packed tightly in the era-appropriate leather booths, and while the vintage-styled space is small and can get crowded quickly on Friday and Saturday nights, visitors know they're getting impeccable cocktails full of fresh fruit and top-shelf ingredients, pared down to perfection.

The options are many and one would certainly never go wrong asking the incredibly hospitable bartenders for recommendations, though the Beijing Mule with jasmine vodka, lime juice, ginger syrup, and pomegranate molasses, topped with a delicately sweet piece of candied ginger is a favorite with its many complex, sometimes fruity, sometimes floral flavors. After hearing me quietly comment to a friend how much I loved the ginger, the bartender handed me another piece almost immediately, just proving that in this space, it's not just the lovely selection of liquors that will win you over.
