A charming bakery in Soho with an abundance of well-priced sweet delights and a selection of cookies that could easily vie for the best in town.
While I've always been one to prefer savory over sweet, I have a single weakness for cookies. And Birdbath's chocolate chip cookies are perhaps the best I've had yet. Crispy on the edges, perfectly soft and gooey in the middle, the cookies are massive (though who would really want to share?) and have no dearth of chocolate, hitting the ideal cookie to chip ratio. With large, flaky pieces of rock salt sprinkled over the top, there's nothing more one could want from a cookie.
